Primăria ieșeană vrea să pună capăt jafului la căldurăJos repartitoarele! Odată cu noile permutări între factorii de gestiune ai sistemului ieșean de termoficare, respectiv externalizarea serviciului către o firmă privată, există și posibilitatea unei schimbări așteptate atât de ieșenii branșați la sistemul de încălzire centralizat, cât și de posesorii de centrale termice. În fața valului de nemulțumiri provocate de modul cum sunt repartizate consumurile la încălzire, șefii municipalității se gândesc ca în perioada următoare să elimine „căpușele” din cauza cărora ieșenii sunt forțați să scoată din buzunare, lunar, sume cu mult mai mari decât cele care ar trebui să se regăsească între raportul dintre consum și plată: firmele de repartitoare.

02-12-2006 Yesterday, the Moldavians celebrated the latest National Holiday before Romania integrates into the European Union. • They besieged the Hungarian minority Party In Iași, the chief executives of the local and county administration, politicians and several hundreds of inhabitants gathered into the Nation Square. After the intonation of the hymn, the first speech was held by the Mayor, Gheorghe Nichita, who set "the cannons" on the Hungarian minority Party: "December 1st is a day of national gratitude, which needs to be celebrated in all the Romanian houses whether within the country or abroad. We need to raise awareness of the aberrant speeches of the Hungarian minority Party leaders regarding the Hungarians local autonomy on the Romanian territory. These are irresponsible allegations, extremist acts violating the Romanian Constitution itself ". Then it was Lucian Flaiser’s turn, Chairman of the County Council to take the floor and address to the inhabitants of Iasi: "On December 1st, the Romanian want to honor the memory of their ancestors not by means of words but by facts. January 1st 2007 means the second modernization stage for Romania, after the Great Union of 1918". The most important event of the manifestations was the march past of the guard of honor of the "Podu Înalt" 15 Mechanized Brigade. The participants to the ceremony met even Mihai Viteazu (Michael the Brave), played by an actor. In Hîrlău, the "Petru Rareș" Cultural Foundation organized a round table on "An unified Romania towards an unified Europe ", followed by a poetry, songs and dance show performed by a group of kindergarten children. • A veteran’s nail and speed upon wreath laying Most of the inhabitants of Botoșani celebrated... by working. Some of them went to work, others – went shopping or beating the carpets, and the most pious honored the nation’s heroes. In front of the Flag Square in the former city downtown, more officials and soldiers than spectators were present. The veteran, Mihai Postolache was among them. "Every year I go out and celebrate the National Day. As it is also my birthday, the joy is double. Here I am turning 85 and I am active – I work in two insurance companies. I do not complain before the authorities or the Government because I have a nail ", the veteran told us, taking out of his coat’s pocket a... nail. Each inhabitant enjoyed the holiday in his own way: a woman dressed up her child in three colors, other hang banners to their balconies. In Suceava, wreaths were laid at the Moment to Heroes from the "Pacea" Cemetery. None of the officials held a speech, on the contrary, they proved to be in a hurry, as a military soldiers was required to "direct" those laying the wreaths to avoid confusion. In Fălticeni the same activities were carried out and the evening was reserved to a dance music show in the civic square. The inhabitants of Fălticeni took fully advantage of the day off to go out for a walk or meet their friends and have a pint of beer. • The pride of being Romanian, supported by... beggars The Chairman of the County Council of Vaslui, met the authorities and the political parties’ representatives. "There are many things making me proud to be Romanian, but I will only mention three: that our ancestors were Daco-Getic; that we are a Christian nation and this morning, in the parking lot, one of the many beggars in the country I live well asked me to give him a coin on the National Day of Romania. If he felt Romanian too, I was satisfied", Mr. Bichineț said. In Bîrlad, the local authorities, the political parties’ representatives and many inhabitants participated to the ceremonial festivity held in the "Eternitatea" Cemetery. In order to be recognized, the liberals wore yellow scarves and the representatives of the Greater Romanian Party, PRM distributed 200 small flags. After the festivity, they were invited to the Military Center, for a cup of boiled wine. Instead, most of the employees of the private institutions celebrated by working. In Huși, the ceremony began in front of the Statute to the Nation’s Heroes in Central Park, with a religious service officiated by the Archpriest Miron Marcel, and followed by flower wreaths and garlands laying. In Onești, many inhabitants gathered at the Monument to Heroes. The first ones to lay wreaths were the gymnasts of the "Nadia Comăneci", High school of Sports, who are otherwise component of the national gymnastics team. The ceremony was attended by 10 war veterans, who were applauded for their brave acts and by pupils as well. (ASIS)
